I am going to gloat because this is really REALLY awesome for me.
FanLit is one of the very first book review websites I started reading when I was contemplating the whole book reviewing thing. I’ve always admired the quality of reviews they post. I was absolutely floored when Stefan contacted me and asked me to apply to be a reviewer – and then Kat emailed me a few days later and told me the same thing. After submitting my first few guest reviews I’ve learned that 1) I have a LOT to learn from those people and 2) I look forward to learning from them so I can improve the quality of my reviews.
Anyway, I’m excited. After having the cancer news and struggling with the post surgery stuff, this was the sort of news that kind of vaulted me out of a sort of gloomy mood that’s been hanging over my head. I have a lot to learn but I think FanLit is a good medium for me to use to improve. I’m really excited that I can be part of a website that has been influential to me from day one.

Congratulations, Sarah! That's great news, and I'm glad to hear it cheered you up. π
Nice work! I think you'll fit in great there.
congrats!!
Great news. Does this mean an end to Bookworm Blues, or will you still be here? (I've actually never gone to Fantasy Literature before, so I don't know how it works.)
Congrats. Those are stupendous news. Woohoo. π
Congratulations! That speaks in your favor.
Most important is that you enjoy it.
Awesome!! Congratulations, Sarah. That's excellent news π
Congratulations!
(Same question as Evil Hat – does this mean you'll be done with this blog? I hope not!)
Congratulations!
I agree with you, Fantasy Literature is one of the best and I'm not surprised they offered you to be a reviewer π
I'm sure you'll fit.
I'm keeping this blog. Basically as a guest reviewer I get to keep my blog and they can request my reviews to post over there (after editing and etc).
We're glad to have you. π
Yep, what Justin said – we're glad you joined the team!
Thanks for the compliments, Sarah! We're excited to work with you. Your tastes fit in so well with ours.
That's great news, Sarah! Glad it doesn't mean Bookworm is going away though… (whew)
Congrats!
